The March for Science is Tomorrow!
6 Ways to Prepare for the March for Science
You can March for Science from anywhere, and even support the cause from your own home - find out how!
Identify a March Near You
A large national effort to March for Science will be taking place in Washington D.C. on April 22, 2017. However, a number of satellite marches will take place across the world at the same time. Find yours by searching for a march near you.
RSVP with FPI
In the last 8 years, we have amassed a network of alumni and supporters that spans over ten countries, and numerous cities within them. As a part of our valuable network, if you are going to march for science, please let us know. You can also request that we send you materials in the form of postcards to spread the word on FPI's efforts to support science education.
Register with your March
It is important for those planning marches to know that you will be attending. Most marches require permits, governmental support, and the careful management of logistics. So please do the organisers a favour and register with your march.
Make a Sign
One of the most amazing things about this march is going to be the sheer range of nerdy, witty, technical, sassy, and fantastic signs that will be generated for it. So put your thinking hats on - and really have fun with it!
Why do you March?
Download a printable template and let the world know why you march. Post these pictures on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and tag them with #oneworldscience and #sciencemarch. The issues are IMPORTANT - even more important than your ability to make it to a march itself!
What happens next?
Things far from end on April 22 - that is just the beginning. FPI has carefully considered the mission and goals of the March for Science Movement and we stand by them to support a peaceful demonstration for the furthering of science education and awareness in our society. As an official partner of the March for Science Movement, follow us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram to find out how to support future weeks of action!
