Alice Poirier

We met Alice Poirier back in 2011 when she joined us as a long-term research assistant tracking manic little monkeys through the dense jungle. She impressed us so much with her skills that we had her back for the next 4 years as our research coordinator. In addition, Alice also served as a field course instructor in Peru for 2 years, and continues to collaborate with us on research to this day. Last year she earned her PhD in Primate Behavioural Ecology at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, UK. Her thesis was evocatively titled: “Scent-marking behaviour and semiochemistry in the Callitrichidae.”
