Dr. AHM Reza is a wildlife biologist by training and an academician by profession based at Delta State University. He was born and raised in the southern part of Bangladesh and received his early education at local schools and colleges. Dr. Reza went to Jahangirnagar University for his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in zoology and wildlife biology respectively. He then taught at the same school for several years before moving to the U.S. for his Ph.D. in wildlife sciences at Texas Tech University. After acquiring his Ph.D. in 2010, he worked with the United States Geological Survey (USGS) on the impact of climate change in Texas as a postdoctoral research associate. Dr. Reza then moved to Mississippi where he is an Associate Professor of Biology. He coordinates wildlife management programs under the environmental science degree program.
