Ximena Neri is a young Mexican environmental scientist, who is starting her career on wildlife conservation. In 2017 she earned a scholarship and assisted to FPI´s course on “Primates and Carnivores Interactions” in India. This summer (2018) she will join FPI crew in Peru as a Research Assistant for the Terrestrial Mammals Handling Program. Her passion for nature and her ever-growing interest in science encouraged to pursue a degree in Earth Sciences. Her curiosity and perseverance to learn about animal handling and management has enriched her professional development and helped her to participate on different conservation projects. She is currently working for an NGO that advocates for wildlife conservation in Mexico.
