Emma Katherine Wallace | Field Projects International

Emma Katherine Wallace

Research Assistant, 2010

Emma Wallace obtained her bachelors from Cambridge University, England, in 2009, in Biological Anthropology, specialising in Primatology. After completing nearly four months of field work with PrimatesPeru she went onto get a Master’s degree in Primate Biology, Behaviour and Conservation at Roehampton University, in London. The skills acquired during her field season with the PP team were invaluable for conducting her own research for her masters, even though captive gibbons were much easier to observe than wild tamarins! Emma is currently studying the effect of Auditory Enrichment on the welfare of the chimpanzees at Edinburgh Zoo, UK, as part of her PhD at the University of York.
