Erica Charnock | Field Projects International

Erica Charnock

Research Assistant, 2014

Erica is a sophomore pursuing an Ecology degree at Pennsylvania State University. She fell in love with rain forests and research when she had the chance to study birds, plants, and sea turtles in Panama after her freshman year. Since then, she has been motivated to get back into the jungle and gain as much field experience as she can. That opportunity also inspired her to join a lab at Penn State where she researches mechanisms controlling bird migration. She hopes to continue researching as much as she can to enhance her future in grad school where she will continue to study ecology and behavior for conservation.
