My name is Kristina, and I am a nature-loving, mountain-running science human. I recently finished my graduated studies in Bioinformatics and Cancer biology, where I investigated aggressive and relapsed cases of cancers on genetic and molecular levels, trying to fit it all in evolutionary framework. In addition to biomedical research over the years, I have become increasingly more interested in the field of ecology and nature conservation and overall find great joy in exploring new branches of science. I am also a complete mountain obsessive, and enjoy any type of movement in mountainous, preferably – remote, challenging environments. Lately I have been spending countless hours running long mountain trails, and I am closely following the progress in bionic limb development, so that I could do this as long as I live.
