KC Hill

K C Hill began with us in 2014 as a research assistant on a saki monkey project in Peru, then later joined us in India’s Western Ghats as an instructor for a field course focused on predator-prey dynamics. Most recently, after graduating with a DVM from Ross university (via LSU), he returned to be the lead vet for our terrestrial mammal and bat sampling project. His advice for young scientists seeking field experience is to: “Put yourself out there and don’t settle for what’s safe. [There is] no such thing as a bad experience; they all make you better. If you get stuck doing what is safe, you will always wonder.”
